Swiss Avenue Bank
Many couples spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on their wedding day. Invitations, wedding favors, gowns, tuxedos, limos, the church, the reception, the photographs, and numerous other considerations all work together to bleed the funds dry. And that’s not even counting the honeymoon!
It is possible to have a great wedding without going bankrupt. Here are some ideas on how to save money on that special day.
Friends with Skills
Family and friends are a great, and often overlooked, resource. Perhaps there is someone on the guest list who does photography as a hobby, or who loves to bake cakes. Maybe one or two like to sew, or is artistic. Go through the roster, and chances are that at least a few names will pop out. Of course, these skills still need remuneration, but the amount will be a lot less than going to a professional stranger.
